Hello students from all over the world!

The Students League from the “Constantin Brancusi” University has the great pleasure of inviting you to the 8^th edition of the International Student Festival “Summer with Student Flavour”, which will take place in Targu Jiu, Romania, between July 23^rd and July 30^th 2010.

About us

Students League is a student association whose goals include the development and assertion training, knowledge development and research, respecting the state law. The Students League was established in July 10^th 2002 by young people experienced in NGOs and student activities.

We are a non-profit, apolitical and non-governmental association, a founding member of the National Union of Students in Romania, with its main purpose being the protection of rights and interests of students, non-formal education and realization of projects for students, mainly, but also for youth in general.

Why „Summer with Student Flavour”?

It’s important for students worldwide, but also for the youth to help fill their gaps, regardless of their race, language or religion.

The main objective of this event is meeting our university students with students from other universities both nationally and internationally. Participating students will be involved in cultural, sporting and social activities.

The Festival’s official language will be English. The program will include the debates on various topics, such as the Lisbon Treaty, Wind Power or Modern Technology. Also, social activities will touch topics as: non-formal education, communication and cooperation of all students, protecting the environment.

You’re invited to intercultural evenings, sports games and prizes, visits in Gorj and off and with a fun treat.

To these we add the participation of young people from other universities in Romania and other countries, thereby establishing links between students from Targu-Jiu and students across the country and abroad.

As a result of our discussions with young people, we will identify the problems they face and attempt to outline a project together with our participants that meets our needs.

Conditions for registration:

to be a student;
to be a member of any type of NGO;
to respond to this invitation by completing and submitting the application until June 26^th, 2010.
